In our extensive case studies of deep excavations common to basement construction, we have observed no consistent soil structure to be found along the walls. It is especially noticeable most often in new excavations as a wetness first appearing as a wall spot, expanding in the areas, depths, and locations expanding water accumulation at the bottom. Pictured at right is a waterproofing project in progress.
